Matthew has served with Speak for the Unborn (S4U) since 2018, but his passion for pro-life ministry was kindled at a young age by participating in baby bottle fundraisers with Louisville’s local pregnancy center. He deeply desires to see babies saved, the Gospel proclaimed, the church equipped, and the hearts of abortion-minded women and men reached for Christ.
During his undergraduate degree, Matthew served as the president of Boyce College’s pro-life student organization and led a team to mobilize and assist pro-life efforts in Louisville and around the country. After coming on staff as S4U’s Network Church Mobilizer in 2022, Matthew transitioned into the role of S4U’s Executive Director in 2024.
Matthew received his M.Div from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and his B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies through Boyce College’s seminary track program. He and his beautiful wife Katie are members at Immanuel Baptist Church in Louisville, KY.
Rachel Norman is S4U’s Communications Coordinator. Rachel is going into her senior year at Boyce College in Louisville, KY, where she is studying strategic communications. Rachel has always felt the Lord’s call to speak up for the unborn and be involved in pro-life ministry. Her work with S4U involves marketing, social media, and graphic design. She has always had a creative bent, and loves getting to use that creativity to proclaim the Gospel through the ministry of S4U!
Rachel is married to Christopher, and they both attend Kenwood Baptist Church in Louisville. They love being outside, cooking together, reading, and thrifting. They are huge fans of the abundant life Christ gives us and take great joy in getting to play a small part in the life-saving ministry of S4U!
