I wanted to post this to give encouragement to the saints and praise to the Sovereign Lord of mercy. This clinic was shutdown mainly due to unlawful practice. We have seen that many clinics disregard the laws in general thanks to the undercover work of “Live Action” (video can be seen on youtube; Kentucky Abortion Center Fails to Report Child Sex Abuse) At the clinic in Alabama two women died in the same day due to an overdose of medication. The clinic stated that they were unable to rush the women out of the clinic on gurneys because they hallways were too small. Upon further investigation, the claim of the hallways being to small were untrue. Sadly, abortion is dark. Since abortions is run by people who are sinners in need of Gods grace (the Bible makes clear this is every human being), their deeds are dark. However, God promises what is done in the dark will be brought to the light. Every person, in time, will have their sin exposed. This may happen for the world to see, but will be seen by God himself, from which nothing is hidden. Jesus is anyone persons only hope of salvation, of forgiveness, of payment for their dark deeds.
Here is the link to the Jay Sekulow show in which I heard about this clinic in Alabama. The clip about the clinic is around the 12 minute area, however, the whole show is worth listening to. Obama’s Pro Abortion Policies – Abortion Clinic Shutdown
Saints, our labor is not in vain and we still have work to be done. Continue to pray to the Lord that he would put an end to abortion in Louisville as well has nationwide and worldwide. Also continue to pray that while we labor, we would see the fruit of labor. That God would save mothers and families and rape victims and young girls and parents and grandparents and clinic escorts and abortion workers, etc….
Writing at LiveAction.org, Kristen Walker pens a piece that I believe is worth mentioning here. In this post, she lists three myths about pro-lifers:
3. We don’t care about children once they’re born.
2. We don’t care about women.
1. We’re fighting for a lost cause.
From my own personal experience on the sidewalk, these are most certainly the arguments I hear from the abortion clinic escorts. They are, of course, baseless claims and completely untrue. Please take time to read the entire post here.
The fight we are fighting most oftentimes does feel like an uphill battle but it’s one we must not give up on. Ms Walker ends her article with this statement:
We win an essential and priceless battle every time a woman chooses life, and no matter how long it takes to win the legal war, we will not stop fighting.
“God shall arise, his enemies shall be scattered; and those who hate him shall flee before him! 2 As smoke is driven away, so you shall drive them away; as wax melts before fire, so the wicked shall perish before God! 3 But the righteous shall be glad; they shall exult before God; they shall be jubilant with joy! 4 Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts; his name is the Lord; exult before him! 5 Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.” -Psalm 68:1-5
On the sidewalk outside EMW here in Louisville, we have about 60 seconds to speak with pregnant women concerning the decision they have made to kill their unborn child. This is not a lot of time and it’s often interrupted by the clinic’s escorts who surround the women and speak falsely about us to the women during one of the most emotional walks they’ll ever take. Many times this is frustrating to me as I’m focused on the woman and trying to provide her help and a way out from the terrible decision she believes she has been forced into by her circumstances. Many times, one of the last phrases I’ll say to a woman (or to her friend) is that she’ll regret this decision and can leave the abortion clinic to walk next door for help at A Woman’s Choice. And just about every time, one of the escorts will retort back, how do you know she’ll regret it?
WORLD Magazine highlighted the story of Justine Kyker, as September 1st marked the 23rd anniversary of her abortion and she writes of the experience here. An excerpt:
At the advice of one friend, she decided to call this Planned Parenthood clinic first.
On the phone, a Planned Parenthood staff member asked Kyker how far along she was. She didn’t know, but guessed three months, and said so. Kyker said she was told to come in right away and bring $200 cash. She then disregarded her previous plan to give up her baby for adoption, going against the prior discussions with her family and her doctor. “I didn’t think about the humanity of the baby,” Kyker said. Unwilling to go to a family member for the money she needed, she took back her college textbooks for the upcoming semester to raise the $200.
The next day, although she had been told not to eat, Kyker gave in to her hunger craving and stopped at a nearby corner store for chocolate milk and mozzarella sticks. Once she arrived at Planned Parenthood, “I paid my $200 to the cashier and sat in the waiting room for a long time,” she said. There, she recalls an employee stopped by: “She said, ‘You seem sad,’ and I started to cry,” Kyker said.
She was offered a little white pill “to make you feel better,” accepted it, and became sleepy until she was on the surgical table. The abortion proved unexpectedly painful, and Kyker’s cries caused more people to enter the room. “Physically, I felt they ripped my internal organs out,” she said. “I was screaming.”
Afterward, Kyker was seated in a room with several other young women, with an employee at one end of the room. “I was sick, vomiting, and I was afraid I would get in trouble for eating,” she said. “The only sympathy I got was from the other girls who had just aborted their babies while the employee just sat there.”
She concludes her story with this powerful statement, “You will never regret giving birth to your child. You will always regret an abortion.”

If you haven’t heard of Lila Rose and her group, Live Action… you need to! She is known for her undercover exposes of abortion clinics providing “health services” to minors claiming to have been victims of statutory rape. In most cases, abortion clinic staff not only neglected to report the abuses, but encouraged the minors to cover up the incidents and simply have an abortion and be on their way! Lila even visited our local EMW Abortion Clinic and you can see the video here:
Kentucky EMW Abortion Clinic Fails to Report Child Sex Abuse
Today, Lila has released another sickening video showing a New Jersey Planned Parenthood actually giving advice to a pimp on how he can get abortions for underage sex traffickers. See the evidence here:
Planned Parenthood Aids Pimp\’s Underage Sex Ring
You can find the rest of the story at Live Action’s Blog at http://liveaction.org/blog/planned-parenthood-aids-sex-ring/. I can’t agree more with their closing statement:
“This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Planned Parenthood intentionally breaks state and federal laws and covers up the abuse of the young girls it claims to serve,” said Lila Rose, President of Live Action. “Time and time again, Planned Parenthood has sent young girls back into the arms of their abusers. They don’t deserve a dime of the hundreds of millions they receive in federal funding from taxpayers. Congress must cease funding and the Department of Justice should investigate this corrupt organization immediately.”
Let’s pray our government does not turn a blind eye to many injustices taking place in these abortion clinics! May God use this young woman’s efforts to expose sin and close down our country’s abortion mills!
